Cameron’s whole thing is that he wants to make your stuff sound good. Whether you need recordings of your music, mixes for your band (live or studio), or a polished and ready-to-impress podcast edit, he’s got you covered. Heck, he’ll write you a jingle too if you ask nicely. With a bachelor’s degree in Audio Design & Production from Columbia College Chicago and years of experience in the studio and out on the town, he has the experience to take your production to the next level. 

In his free time, he likes to write tunes of his own and practice his music mixing skills. He’s also your guy if you need post-production work of any kind for your film— including ADR, dialogue mixing, and foley/SFX.

The guy’s been all over town, too. In a live sound capacity, he’s been known to mix Front of House and Monitors at clubs like Evanston’s Space, Lincoln Hall, Schubas Tavern, Subterranean, Bottom Lounge, and Beat Kitchen. Heck, he was even the house engineer at both Bub City locations— so he knows all the words to Wagon Wheel, for better or worse.

Podcasting credits include original music and editing for Dungeons, Dice, & Everything Nice, musical commission and engineering for Do By Friday, and editing for Album Rebrews Season 2.

Recording

With experience in many different environments, Cameron is comfortable anywhere there's a microphone and a recording device. His home studio is well-suited for in-the-box production, as well as recording vocals, guitar, bass, and any acoustic instruments on their own.  Both Pro Tools and Ableton Live 11 are viable options in this space for recording your next hit! Using UAD’s state-of-the-art Apollo Twin Quad, all your recordings will sound crystal clear. Or enlist his services for your podcast/voiceover/ADR recording needs.

mixing

With pairs of Yamaha HS8s, HS5s, and NS-10s all at his disposal, plus a myriad of plugins, your mixes will come out sounding professional and well-balanced on any playback system. Cameron's plugin library includes the Soundtoys 5 Bundle, Avid Pro Tools AudioSuite, Ableton Live 11 Suite, and Waves Gold.

Video Production

Exploring his other love, photography and videography, Cameron is no stranger to producing high-quality videos. Go watch a couple that he’s made for the lovely Album Rebrews folks! With lights, cameras, and plenty of action, he can make you look better than you ever thought possible.

For years, Cameron was the chief recording and editing engineer for Dungeons, Dice, & Everything Nice. These days he edits Album Rebrews Season 2, and has been known to engineer Do By Friday’s sessions as well. His mixes always come out sounding clean, professional, and mastered to professional loudness standards for an optimal experience.
